Urban Plunge Community Service

May 18 is Ignatian Identity day for faculty. Students will be dismissed at 12:25.

Textbook buy back 

Jesuit's textbook vendor will be on campus to purchase used textbooks from seniors May 16 from 10:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. in the small cafeteria. They will return to purchase used textbooks from underclass students June 1 from 11:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.

Jesuit Texas Hold'em Poker Tournament

Join us for the Inaugural Jesuit Texas Hold ‘Em Poker Tournament, sponsored by Waterford Capital. Proceeds from this year’s event will benefit the Jesuit Football, Rangerettes and Cheerleaders trip to Dublin, Ireland this Fall. Register at www.jesuitcp.org/poker.

Crew Regional Champs

The Jesuit Crew team won the Central District Regional Championships this past weekend with wins in the Varsity 8 and the JV 8 as well as medals in the V4, Light 4, Novice 4, and Light 8. The victory qualifies the team to compete in the National Championships in Oak Ridge, TN in June.

Senior Finishes Third in State Championship Discus

Senior Jeff Bartlett finished third in discus at the UIL State Championship meet. Jeff is the first Jesuit Track & Field Athlete to place top three at the State Meet. For more details and a photo, visit the Track & Field page.

If you can't wait until fall to enjoy Jesuit Rangers football, come out to the Blue & Gold Game Friday, May 18 at 7:30 when our defense suits up as the blue team to take on our offense in gold. If you can't make it to the field, listen to the action on the Rangers Sports Radio Network.

Baseball Playoffs End

Despite a strong effort, the Rangers baseball team was defeated Saturday in their series against Texas A&M Consolidated. Congratulations to the team for a hard-fought series and for a great season (26-8-1).
