Admissions Process

Freshman Applicants

 
   

Application:

The Application for Admissions form, Student and Parent Responses, and $75.00 application fee are due by Friday, January 8, 2010.

 

Entrance Examination:

Jesuit Dallas uses the Independent School Entrance Exam (ISEE), a national standardized test created for admissions evaluation. The ISEE test will be offered at Jesuit Dallas on January 9, 2010, and January 16, 2010. An applicant may take the ISEE test at any testing location; for a complete list of dates and locations, refer to the ISEE website, iseetest.org. Out-of-town applicants may arrange to take the test in their home town. An ISEE registration form, which is separate from the Jesuit application, is found in the ISEE Student Guide. Applicants may also register for the ISEE online or over the phone. Please note that registration and fees for ISEE testing are not handled through Jesuit Dallas. 

Transcript and Recommendations:

Students must submit transcripts from 7th grade and the first semester of 8th grade. In addition, students must submit academic recommendations from current math and English teachers, as well as a personal reference from a person of their choice. Transcript requests and recommendation forms will be mailed to the applicant after January 8, 2010, and are due back to the Admissions Office by January 29, 2010.

 

Interview:

Each applicant is required to participate in a personal interview. The interview dates are January 23, 2010, and January 30, 2010. Information about scheduling an interview will be sent to applicants in early January. Out-of-town applicants may conduct their interview over the phone.
