All North Texas Artists: An Art-Rageous Opportunity to Show

Celebrating its 10th year, the format for the 2010 competition will be an open call for all eligible entries, rather than by invitation only.  The ArtQuest Juried Exhibition, October 18th - 22nd, is the cornerstone and kick-off event for the Jesuit Dallas Museum annual gala auction.  Accepted entries from local artists compete across all media categories during a 5-day exhibition in the Terry Center on the campus of Jesuit College Preparatory School of Dallas. Entry deadline is October 8th.  Awards for 1st, 2nd, 3rd and Best of Show will be presented at the Artists' Reception October 27th,  where jurors, JDM trustees, benefactors and patrons will gather to welcome and acknowledge the exhibiting artists.

The exhibited art will remain on display for the auction gala ArtQuest "That's Art-Rageous."  In addition, all exhibiting artists will receive program billing featuring their artwork and biography.  Best of Show winning artwork will be accepted into the Jesuit Dallas Museum permanent collection.  All other artwork will be donated to the ArtQuest auction, to be sold to the highest bidder.  All proceeds will be donated to the Jesuit Dallas Museum.
