Tornado Procedures

In the case of severe weather, you will find posted directions in each classroom. It would be a good idea to review these so you know where the “safe areas” for your respective rooms are located.  Here is a copy below for convenience:

▪ School Administrators will announce the official tornado warning and give instructions to move to safe areas via the PA system.

▪ Teachers will move students quickly and orderly to the designated safe area and have them assume the tornado protection position.
