Jesuit Dallas Museum
The Jesuit Dallas Museum is a remarkable center for innovative visual arts. All housed in a bustling high school for boys is a memorable complex of galleries and courtyards. The JDM is distinguished by the depth and range of its art collection with 490 pieces. Internationally celebrated artists share space with a rich trove of Southwestern works. Works by Dali, Chihuly, and Pena are as likely to fill an alcove as Texas State Flags are to hug the walls of an intimate hallway. Take part in one of our spirited programs that focus on the role of the arts in shaping the soul and inspiring discovery. Congratulations to this year's ArtQuest winner, Caracol by Lucrecia Waggoner. This porcelain work of art, enhanced with gold leaf, becomes the latest addition to the museum's collection.

Night at the Museum
"Night at the Museum" returns for a second year on April 2 at 7 p.m. in the Terry Center. The founder of the Jesuit Dallas Museum, Reverend Clyde Leblanc, S.J., will be the guest speaker. The evening concludes with docent-led tours of art from the JDM collection and refreshments. This complimentary event is open to all members of the Jesuit community; reservations required. Evening of the Arts
The next Evening of the Arts will be held on April 23 at 7 p.m. in the Jesuit Terry Center. The theme of the April event will be "Fused Art Glass". Create 4 fused-glass coasters under the guidance of glass artist Larry Pile. Cost for Museum Members - $50. All supplies, beverages and snacks will be included. Deadline for reservations: March 1 - space is very limited.

JDM ART LEAGUE LUCHEON
Our end-of-the-year celebration will be held on Wednesday, April 30 at Cadot restaurant. Lunch will be followed by a special presentation given by Rachel Gaffney. She is the owner of Rachel Gaffney's Real Ireland, an Irish lifestyle company, and host of The Irish Kitchen on AT&T Universe and Hulu. The show features Irish ingredients, luxury goods and travel. Details about making your reservation will be available soon. Cost: $30 Museum members; $35 Non-Members.
Limited edition prints are still available for purchase (hand-colored prints have sold out). The print is of the original line drawing by Bill DeOre of the new Jesuit Athletic Tower and features signatures of all members of the 2014 Senior Class.
