Stepping Out
Each year the
Art League arranges planned outings to visit artists' studios, galleries
and/or exhibits. The 2008-09 chairs Betsy Santoro and Marina Foster are
hard at work arranging trips to the DMA"s "King Tut”, Artful Flower
Arranging, Chocolate making and The Meadows Museum this year.

On April 1, 2009 Art League Members stepped
out to tour The Meadows Museum “From the Temple and the Tombs” Etruscan
Treasures from Tuscany. In addition to seeing the wonderful artifacts
from 700BC to 100BC they were treated to wonderful stories of from
mythology. Lunch followed at the home of an Art League member.

On February 4, 2009 Art League Members stepped
out to Morgen Chocolate Factory, The members enjoyed learning how
chocolate is made and experienced making and wrapping the delicious
product. All left with a “box of chocolates.”
