Jordan Spieth Misses Cut as Horschel Prevails in 2017 AT&T Byron Nelson
Jordan Spieth, Jesuit Class of 2011, was the keynote player in this year’s AT&T Byron Nelson. Jesuit alumni, University of Texas at Austin alumni, and DFW golf lovers came by the hundreds to watch the Dallas native participate in the final tournament at the Four Seasons at Las Colinas. Unfortunately, Jordan’s weekend would end early […]

Seven Babies Descend Upon the Faculty
Mother. Father. Birthgivers. Caretakers. The unsung superheroes that don’t wear capes. The lifesavers. Those people that feed me. Whatever you may call them, parents play an incredible role in our lives both in the spotlight and behind the scenes, capable of making our lunch one moment and helping us wash our clothes in the next. […]

Jesuit’s Annual ArtQuest
What makes Jesuit’s hallways different from most others? As they walk swiftly from class to class or rush to leave school, students rarely focus their energy on the various art-pieces that dot the walls. However, students, maybe even without noticing, will take a quick glance and, in times of apathy, will gaze at these paintings or […]

Freshman and Varsity Debate Finish Strong in April
Two teams of debaters stand across from each other, preparing arguments and possible counter-arguments for their opponents’ position. A judge presides close by with sheets of paper in front of him, waiting to take notes on each team’s performance. One team offers their position on a controversial topic, citing evidence and presenting conclusions based on […]

The Return of the Wizard
While he doesn’t possess any real magical powers, Mr. Billingham’s ability to instill a genuine enthusiasm for math inside teenagers is almost supernatural. For the previous 20 years, very few classes have enjoyed Billingham’s wizardry, as he switched from a full-time teacher to Jesuit’s Technology Director in 1996. However, this past year Billingham returned to […]

Having fallen behind after five straight unanswered goals from the Eagles, things looked bleak for the Jesuit Rangers lacrosse team following the first quarter of last Sunday’s Texas High School Lacrosse Division 1 State championship against ESD in Katy, Texas. On January 20th, 2017, Donald J. Trump was inaugurated as the 45th President of the United States of America. On January 20th, 2017, protesters amplified their assault proportionately to the amount of media coverage of a fabricated Russian conspiracy theory in attempts to delegitimize the president. However, the Donald persisted and achieved a historical pace […]
