The Roundup
Underclassmen Shine at OKC Invitational
The familiar rhythm of the paddles coming in and out of the water, the mist spraying, the coxswain yelling commands. The boat propels through the water as competitors close in on either side. Jesuit crosses emblazoned on the navy paddles flash above the water before being plunged back in. Pulling with every ounce of strength, […]

The Best Food in the Lone Star State
As we approach the old, stone building, we see the immense line of patrons all eagerly waiting to be admitted inside. Many of them have been waiting since 5:00 am, just to be the first ones in line. We wait for several hours, our anticipation building, before finally seeing the line start to shift forward. […]

JV Lacrosse Wins Big in February
Streaking towards the open net, with only one red and blue Allen goalie standing in the way, Dylan Topolski ’19 winded up, zeroed in on his target, and fired. The result? Another score in a dominant 8-4 victory against the Allen Eagles in the first regular season game for JV lacrosse. Jesuit’s JV Lacrosse team […]

Jesuit Blood Drive
Young and old, healthy and sick, we all have it. Blood is an essential part of the human body, though it’s easy to take it for granted. Unfortunately, the sick are not always able to produce their own blood cells in the quantity or quality necessary for a healthy life, but there are many people in […]

Jesuit Hockey Closes Out Regular Season, Clinches Playoff Berth
The puck drops, crashing against the ground, sending shards of ice flying through the frosty air.  The hockey player raises his stick, wielding it with strength and prowess.  He sends the small black puck sailing through the air right into the back of the net, exhilarated by the victory.  This feeling of triumph and glory […]

Davey O’Brien Award – Jacob Palisch
Jacob Palisch ’17, who you might have heard of as he was our starting quarterback who led us to two straight district titles, a Stanford University baseball commit and a member of the varsity basketball team, was more than qualified to be nominated for the prestigious Davey O’Brien award, an award which recognized both his […]

Students at Jesuit choose to take one of four languages freshman year: Spanish, French, Mandarin, and Latin. Each course is unique, not only in content but also in how it shapes every student’s experience.
