Keeping my friends alive: XCOM 2 Review
Statistically, a 95% chance to hit a target seems like superb opportunity to take a shot on a target. XCOM 2 has reinforced the opposite mentality. This turn based strategy game developed by Firaxis Games  forces the player to make risky decisions on and off the battlefield. This sequel to XCOM: Enemy Unknown (of 2012) proves to be …

All-State Band Musicians
The young musician sits in his chair, sweat forming on his left eyebrow. He wipes the nuisance with his polyester suit as the conductor enters onto his podium. He raises his hands, scanning the band for confirmation that they are ready to perform the piece. This was the scene on January 30th when eight Jesuit-Ursuline Ranger …

You Can’t “Bear” Missing The Revenant
Abandoned in the dead of winter, one man crawls from his own grave to go in search for the man who murdered his son, barely grasping onto his life after a vicious bear encounter. Every movement pained by his scars as he hunts for the revenge he deserves. I entered the movie not wanting to be forced to watch gratuitous …

Jesuit Varsity Basketball Continues Strong District Play
Lacing up their shoes, getting out on the court, facing tough district opponents, the last few weeks for the Jesuit Varsity Basketball team have been tough games that the Rangers gave their all, showing their ability to win tough basketball games. Facing three opponents—Sunset (1/19), Skyline (1/22), and RL Turner (1/26)—the Rangers posted a string …
